It is such a shame. You managed to tell the story of the Braganza family, yet did not take the time to use real photographs of the people you are actually talking about. Instead, we are shown images of people we do not even know, with no clear connection to the story being told.<br><br>In a historical documentary, images are part of the history too — especially when real photographs and archival material exist.<br><br>As a Portuguese woman, I find this genuinely sad and disappointing. Our history deserves greater accuracy, respect and care. What a missed opportunity to make this a truly compelling and credible documentary.

Amazing that with all of the photos (probably 100s of 1000) available from contemporary publications, you managed to not show ONE photo of the actual Duarte Pio, the current Duke of Bragança.

The wedding of HRH Dom Duarte Pio de Bragança did not take place at Lisbon Cathedral, but rather at the Church of Santa Maria de Belém, in the Jerónimos Monastery, which houses one of the pantheons of the Avis dynasty, the former royal house of Portugal.

I’m new to your channel. Genuine photos is important. Can’t judge the content but I already appreciate the material, albeit as an introduction to the subject. I’m also nterested in Fragoso Carmona’s role in respect to the royal family and Portugal (and Brazil’s) history
