  Great video! My dad is 72 years old and runs circles around any guy we hire in their 20s. Farming is definitely a hard job! Hope to see you at Aquashella!

  Neocardinia shrimp are the most slept on as far as breeding for profit. You can keep 100s in a 20 long

  Depending on the fish. I bought a 100.00 pair of killifish. Sold the fry back to my lfs at wholesale and he sells it for 70/pair as local bred. Slow buy, but people do buy them. Tempted on going to ebay to get more money. I plan on going to the killifish show/auction  next month and seeing what other fish is offered for potential breeding.

  I  have a job that pays far more than "breeding for profit" (BFP) ever will.  So my BFP money is so I can spurge on some high dollar fish or equipment.  My advice for anyone wanting to BFP is don't focus on high dollar fish, focus on high demand/high volume fish.  Don't think 'I can sell these fish for $50 and sell dozens think 'I can sell these fish for $2.00 and sell thousands'.   When I sell fish, I prefer to sell every single fish that is large enough to sell in one transaction.  I do that about 3 times a year when I purge out the fish room and sell 800-1,000 fish in one trip.  To do so, you got to sell wholesale and you got to move numbers. I simply don't have the time or desire to go into the fish shipping business, but I know people that have made that a business.  Once you have that place where you can dump the volume, go ahead and do the low producing, high dollar fish or the low producing/low demand fish.  Just stay away from low demand/ high producing fish that even selling to wholesalers, quickly saturate the market and then you're stuck with fish you don't move (amatitlania nanolutea, I looking at you..).
