  Well, this is my guess on the lore of this song.<br><br>In the Rewind week of the FCR, it was mentioned (not literally) that Boyfriend has no way of defeating the corruption unless the spirit takes his body and fights against the corruption and the corrupted. It was also stated that it was the only way to save the world and (through the Savestate song) and other endings (Banishment and Resurgence songs) are bad endings.<br><br>So, this may other good ending that wasn&apos;t mentioned or an ending that was created by the spirit itself for letting him escape from that digital prison.<br><br>At last, the Spirit escaped from his body, leaving his Soul intact and BF alive. A good ending for both.<br><br>I also love how the corruption comes at a certain time and at last Soul BF came in clutch.<br><br>This was my interpretation of this song. Other than that, this song was a banger 🎉
