I enjoyed watching and continue to be impressed with your computer knowledge! The captions you provided to explain acronyms were a nice addition! Hope the Commodore will be working for you soon! 馃槉

Josh, once you removed those CIA chips your name was placed on the bad boy register. That's almost as bad as releasing the magic smoke. Thanks again for the fun video. You may want to invest in a chip puller.

The biggest problem we have with buying old computers like this is that we have no real way of knowing how many owners are in it's history. Thus, we don't have any way of knowing who has done what to them. But when we get them fully restored and working, it's best that we keep them forever and never sell them or give them away.

Awesome video Josh! I think even if that were a brand new C64 it might not work out of box. Time is real. Capacitors and boards experience oxidization and corrosion. I have seen a brand new NES completely corroded, never used. Time is just a factor. Awesome pick up and awesome video!

Crossing my fingers you can fix it Josh!

There were 7 flashes from the dead test. That indicates a problem with ram. The flash code chart shows for 7 flashes is U9 or U10 depending on the revision of your C64 board.
