Sykes is one of the best things to ever happen to a Les Paul.

This is probably the best Withesnake formation ever! Neil Murray at bass, and the great guitar-hero John Sykes and the unforgettable best drummer in the world Cozy Powell. Not forgetting David Coverdale who sang like a god of Rock!!!

The exactly moment when one of the greatest solos in history is born. Thank you Mr Powell for pushing John on that powerfully insane direction!!

Neal Murray was an absolute beast on that bass guitar, so underrated. What a lineup. Whitesnake had some great lineups, but this one is hard to beat!

Sykes is a farking monster. His playing on the 87 Whitesnake album is absolutely ridiculous.
