This is not a criticism; I’m only pointing out something that’s likely a translation issue: In English, “wheat” is a <i>kind</i> of bread; “rye” is a <i>kind</i> of bread; “pumpernickel” is a <i>kind</i> of bread. By definition, there are not 50 “kinds” of bread. So, the more accurate translation is “bakery products,” or “bakery items,” especially because the bakers profiled have also incorporated creative and tasty elements of patisserie, both sweet and savory, into their daily offerings; calling everything “bread,” by definition leaves out those accomplishments. Either way, that’s a whole big spread of delicious goodness to prepare on any given day!
