In 2009 I was driving truck over the road and I used to stay at that exact rest stop on 70 just into Ohio. I pulled in late one night to get some sleep, parked walked up to the restroom and when walking back to my truck I was held at gun point and robbed. Be safe out there especially at night. Never let your wife walk alone at night especially at rest stops and truck stops

I live in Indy and apologize for our roads. They’ve never been great, but I’m pretty certain our state DOT got some COVID money for road construction and spent a not insignificant amount on fentanyl and psilocybin mushrooms for themselves.<br><br>The only benefit is that when the Hoosiers defeated the Buckeyes in the B1G 10 Championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium, their blow-hard fans snuck out with their heads hung low and blew out their suspensions on I-70 during their return to Columbus.<br><br>Come back in the Spring or Fall and go to Turkey Run and Shades State Parks. Not everything in this state sucks like the roads do.

Florida also lowers them during hurricanes to keep them from being damaged. Useless trivia...

My wife and I are in our early seventies and we are part time RVers. We live in Indiana just north of I-70. After traveling most of the country we have to agree with you. I-70 through Indiana is the worst road we’ve ever traveled.
