  I know someone whose ex said they missed their ex wife's cooking and sleeping in their own bed.  They didn't mention missing their wife only the wife's COOKING.

  Ego and pride kept my ex from giving any positive attention until it turned into hatred towards us, even the kids. And the divorce came out of nowhere...

  My ex liked the look of marriage, but didn't want to play the part.  Sports consumed his life, so much he became angry if I asked for his time.  Every time I needed support, he turned his back on me and was horribly cruel to me.  I divorced him, to save myself.  I never remarried, and won't.

  They all  say,  after I got divorced, why is always after?why is always when is to late? They don't work on rhe marriage and then the divorce came out of  nowhere comment

  My ex was horrible. Claimed he wanted to work it out while doing all things to destroy it. Meanwhile I had to move out with no family to go to....my child too. All was left with him.....he demanded it all be his...then threatened he will pay people to lie about me. He will make sure I have no one, no work, no place to live. This was decades ago and he still is spending all his energy interfering with all above. So no, men alone are not the victims only in full loss of security and what they personally built. As you may have concluded, I really had no choice since I had to protect my child.

  Men need to try harder, women will talk to the partner about it and what they need and her needs are if you’ve been told repeatedly and she becomes quiet, leave me she’s going out the door

  Sometimes no contact is what you have to do.  When he chose to lay hands on me.  This was the third time and three strikes you are out of my life.  That look on his face was so angry., like he hated me to his core.  I was left with a bruise.  I did not deserve this the first time and I told him the third time.  You will never get the chance to do it again.  I moved to another state.  There was mental abuse too.  I learned when I went to counseling that he chose to do this because he didn't want to deal with his own childhood trama.  I was tired of walking on eggshells around a person who was supposed to love me.  In reality he was trying to destroy me.  Boundaries had to be set to protect myself.  It has left a very bitter taste in my mouth so no huge desire to get with a man again.

  Most of these men still don’t get it. So sad in a way, like my ex-husband actually told my son that his new wife only gets 10% of him. Typical narcissist, I’m so happy that I left. I’m in the four B &  3000 miles away. God bless him.
