  I still love how at the end, the chief judge asks what happened and dredd just says, “Drug bust.”

  3 best things about Dredd, in my opinion:<br>1) Stayed true to the source material. Karl Urban didn&apos;t take his helmet off!<br>2) No ridiculous romantic subplot between Dredd and Anderson.<br>3) Karl Urban and Lena Headey both absolutely <i>owned</i> their roles.

  The best franchise that didn&apos;t happen. It is so close to the actual Judge Dredd in spirit and style that it&apos;s near perfect, Mr Urban totally gets Joe Dredd. And Lena Headey is MAGNIFICENT.

  Urban not taking off the helmet and the depiction of violence in the film makes this movie (in my eyes) one of the greatest comic book adaptations ever made.

  Everyone heaps praise on Karl Urban for his incredible portrayal of Dredd and Lena Headey for her terrifyingly cold portrayal of Ma-Ma, but too few praise Olivia Thirlby for her portrayal of Anderson. From her nervous energy at the start of her assessment, to her reluctant execution of the guy who tried to kill her and Dredd, to the ass-kicking, name-taking badass she is at the end, Thirlby took her character on a journey. Top shelf stuff.

  The faceless hero is how legends are made. &nbsp;Judge Dredd never reveals his face, his mask is perfect.<br>When the Mandelorean series first ran he was the faceless hero of legend &nbsp;Then he broke two rules, he violated &quot;The Way&quot; by removing his helmet, and he violated the cinematic rule of the faceless hero. &nbsp;At that point the series went &nbsp;to shit.

  This, for me, is one of the best, comic-accurate movies ever. It&apos;s criminally underrated and deserves a sequel.<br><br>The acting was near perfect - especially Urban and Ma ma.
