People who don't know why they are wearing Yellow/Mustard ๐ colour dresses here it's related to Basant Panchmi festival celebrated at Sufi Saint Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliyas Dargah by his followers started by his pupil Hazrat Ameer Khusro in 12-13th century it is said when Saint's dear Nephew Khwaja Taqiuddin Nuh died by illness he was in grief for months and stopped smiling this troubled Khusro and he decides to bring smile on his Auliya's face then one day he saw across the Yamuna river rally of Women singing and dancing who were celebrating Basant Panchami wearing yellow clothes and yellow mustard flowers offering to the nearby Kalika Devi Temple it interest's him and he asked them why you offering Yellow Mustard flowers then they replied it will please their Deity then Khusro also participated in the festival of Basant Panchmi wearing yellow cloths and putting yellow flower in his hairs with dholki he sang for Auliya and that made him smile after a long time and ended his grief. it is celebrated till this day by his followers at Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya's Dargah in Delhi as moment of joy People wearing yellow cloths offering yellow chadar and yellow Flowers also it is celebrated all over Prepartician North India as Basant Panchami as Welcome of Spring ๐ผirrespective of Religions be it Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims When crops are to be cultivated and this Kalam of poetry "Sakal Ban" is written by Tota-E-Hind (Parrot of India) ๐ฎ๐ณ Hazrat Ameer Khusro deciple of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya ๐
