My mother's father and some of his brothers went to Panama to help build the Panama canal. His name was Jonathan King. He came back to Jamaica but his brothers did not. He was paid with gold piece and bought land to farm bananas and Irish potatoes. He bought land for all his children. He lived in Blue Mountain, Manchester.
