  I'm not going to lie, I would have been fine with Doom ruling earth becoming a permanent part of Marvel comics. Kinda like Lex becoming president.

  If Dr Doom was an actual person within our realm of existence, I believe he would find this retelling of his glory and intentions to be "more than adequate". Keep up the great work!

  While Doom gets a lot of praise for being a world leader in this story I think it’s good to remember a few things:<br>1.) while he didn’t use magic to control the world leaders he still forced his way into power, there was no election or coronation. His will was imposed on the world and even killed people as a show of power in his first address.<br>2.) he silenced news media that spoke against him and killed protesters<br>3.) he took all of the world nukes and pointed them down using one to wipeout 20k people just because Bucky didn’t want to join a secret police.<br>4.)He by all counts failed at being Sorcerer Supreme. He paid no mind to the seals that it was his job to maintain causing the near end of the world at the hands of demons. Twice.<br>5.) the biggest failing of Doom in this story was abusing the people of Latveria. That’s like one of the few things he would never do, defending Latveria and its people is one of his main character traits.<br><br>All in all I think this story does a great job of showing how bad people with enough charisma can get away with the evil they do, the heroes were made to face straw man arguments and the nirvana fallacy which is always fun, but also a lot of them were nerfed in capability so Doom wasn’t defeated right away.

  I should not be surprised. But knowing as much of Doom as I do I am still taken awe in the first speech in the first 3 mins of this video. Beautiful.
