This song and so many others from their cataloque, makes it impossible to put them into one or even two genres. They were so incredible versatile, that's why they loved even now.Simply the best.

I hope this song gets the recognition it deserves with the Stranger Things collaboration. Just what a song!

The whole album was fantastic. The critics always hated Queen back then. Ridiculous.

I loved the contrast between Brian’s delicate vocals, and when Freddie came in. It highlighted how powerful and beautiful Freddie’s voice was.
On the official video John played double bass (stand-up bass) and yes, Roger played timpani.
I’m glad you liked this one.

Rolling Stones mag. always had a great hate for Queen, it wasn't till years later they admitted they were wrong about Queen, but all those years they tried to destroy them. This album was a good album.

I saw The Highlander when it came out, without knowing beforehand there was any music by Queen. A Kind Of Magic played in the end credits, based on The Highlander speaking about his immortality "It's a kind of magic".
Who Wants To Live Forever totally fits in the movie. You must watch the movie to see how the emotion in Freddie's voice is felt by The Highlander

This song is played when in the movie HIGHLANDERs wife has grown old and is dying where he is immortal and had lived centuries before. If you saw the MOVIE you would be all choked up and crying 😢 BRIAN sang the opening while playing organs keyboard. There were a lot of bands who hated QUEEN because they were the best. You should find the OFFICIAL VIDEO. IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND. RIP FREDDIE MERCURY 1946-1991 DIED 11-24-1991 ONLY 45YRS OLD. WE LOVE AND MISS YOU SO 😔 🎤 🎹 🎸 🥁 🎸 ❤❤❤❤

Michael Kamen also arranged and conducted the symphonic music for Pink Floyd the final cut.
