  The dark atmosphere, vibe, aesthetic and unusual level design that actually had you rack your brain a bit were always things I enjoyed about this game. It left a pretty big impression on me as a kid.

  I remember getting this game when I was a kid and absolutely loving it. I still own it and the original And play them from time to time. I must say that even though the new games do technically play better there&apos;s just something about the charm of the ps1 spidey games that can&apos;t be beat.

  Was probably the only person ever who watched the movie &quot;The Untouchables&quot; and when the dinner table scene came on went &quot;Oooh, it&apos;s the scene with Hammerhead in Spider-man 2 Enter Electro&quot;.

  It&apos;s crazy how Neversoft developed Spiderman 2000, then Vicarious Visions developed the sequel. AND, Neversoft also developed the Tony Hawk&apos;s Pro Skater games, and Vicarious Visions developed the remastered THPS 1+2 20 years later, and then were almost immediately dispersed by Activision. It really all came full circle right before the end.

  I wouldn&apos;t call it forgotten. It&apos;s one of my favorite PS1 titles, and I have a version of it on my phone that I like to play during my break times at work. One of my favorite spiderman games of all time.

  Fun Fact: there was supposed to be a 3rd game &nbsp;with Green goblin as the main antagonist &nbsp;but was cancelled In favor of making games based off the Sam Raimi movies

  It doesn&apos;t have the same place in my heart as the first game but it&apos;s still so good, and arguably more difficult. Nine year old me was absolutely crazy about this game and I had to practically beg my parents to get it.
