I played this for my grandma when she was passing. She couldn't speak but she opened her eyes and looked at me and smiled. And I knew she knew...

I was 26 and blasting Patsy Cline on my stereo when my landlord knocked on my door and told me there were complaints from the neighbors. He said "can you turn it down a bit? And you have great taste in music!" We got married 2 years later. He is white, I'm black and let me tell you: great music is Not about race, class or age! You feel it or you don't!

You had to be sitting in the front row and listening to her for real, not a recording to really appreciate this great lady. Miss her dearly. In my 82 years of life, she is my favorite and when she sings this, it brings tears to my eyes.

My dad died a month ago, and this was one of his favorite songs. We played this at his funeral. Rest in peace my sweet daddy I will miss you forever. You took a piece of my heart with you.😰

My mom would sing this to me to stop me crying as a kid, but since I lost her I cry when I hear it 😢
