  I’m an American from California.  I grew up partly in Grand Cayman, the Caribbean.  I’d love to return but it’s a little different adulting and the cost of living there is among the highest in the world.  The Philippines offers a similar lifestyle and much more with the mountains.  I’m also an advanced scuba diver with hundreds of dead and shallow dives logged.  The Philippines, is looking more and more attractive.  Such a strong expat communitie, cost/quality of living, modest/traditional beautiful women, English seems to be nearly the primary language, widely spoken, many different climates, cooler areas lol.., Very very appealing, at 40 years old, the temptation is very very real.

  I like to hang out on a nice quiet beach. No music. No hawkers trying to sell you something you don't need.

  Hi Mike my name is Keith, my fiance and I just left the Canadian Beaver and met RonJay Marion and a few other expats that frequent… Great food great service . We will come again in a few weeks. Just wanted to shake your hand and tell you thank you so much for your video on the condo behind TANDUAY … Louie is is a very, very nice landlord and the condominium is extremely beautiful. Everything is new and if it had not been for you. I would not be here in Roxas city Capiz we also went to Black Sands and met the owner there so we can’t wait to meet you, Kath and Laura you guys get back safe

  We did 3 weeks last year and 6 weeks during Christmas 23/24. &nbsp;It was great and affordable. <br><br>Living there sounds great but I couldn’t do it. &nbsp; I have walked that island a few times. &nbsp;It’s small, can get crowded and congested, pricey for goods and services vs the bigger islands. &nbsp;Kalibo or Roxas better to consider and just visit Boracay anytime. &nbsp;Best of both worlds and avoid island fever.
