I found where the Creek bass were!

  It has been a strange year for creek bass here in central Kentucky. Creeks and rivers were low until late in June with the lack of rainfall. Smallmouths were hard to come by and the creeks seemed lifeless.<br>With the coming of July we had regular heavy rains and some flooding. This has continued into August. Over the last week the creeks have come alive. They have been feeding heavily below riffles at the head of pools and I have taken limits of 12 to 14 inch smallmouths. Seem to catch at least one really nice fish on each trip.<br>At 74 and not the best health, I struggle a little but am fishing more than any time over the last 60 years.

  Crazy weather pattern this year in Central PA. We&apos;ve been getting heavy thunderstorms ( 2-3 inches rain or more in an hour) once or twice a week all summer long. Flash flooding all over. Rivers and creeks up and down like a yo-yo. Thursday one local river gauge went from 2.4 up to 7.1 feet in one afternoon. <br>Anyway another good video John! Interesting stuff about line, rod, lure selection. Keep up the good work! <br>Tight Lines!

  Great video <br>Try a modify a spinnerbait <br>I shorten the arm that holds the blade and bend it slightly more upright <br>That will put the blade way farther forward<br>This works better sometimes <br>IMO it gives the bass a different lure that they don&apos;t see
