I came north for Nordkapp — but this island was the moment that stopped me cold. I can hardly believe it was real.<br>Curious what you think… would you expect this in the Arctic?

That's a strange summary for Amundsen. Roald Amundsen lead the first expedition to reach the Geographic South Pole. He famously beat Scott. Amundsen and his team returned safely, but Scott died there. One of the US bases in Antarctica is called Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station for that reason.

Hi, this is why I travel up north every summer. Portugal and Spain are nice as far as the weather is concerned but they are destroyed by tourism. Cheers from fellow motorcyclist from Norway.

the camera you mentioned at about 8.00 is a trafic camera . it just film the road so people can se the condition there. come in handy at winter with bad weather
