I am honestly surprised Kenard could do anything after that ass beating he got from Mike. Shit was brutal.

Kenard killing Omar was epic on many levels...shock value, ripple affect of his violence coming full circle, beautifully written and orchestrated.

It seems to me that Kenard taking out Omar is just part of the cyclical nature of the show- or life, in general.
If you take the 4 characters that you mentioned in this arc: Omar, Bird, Kenard and Michael; they are all part of the same symbolic or metaphorical circle that goes round in the show.
Bird put away by Omar, then you actually see Michael beating on Kenard for f’ing w Dookie, (a possible foreshadow) finally Kenard pops Omar….and i would bet you dollars to doughnuts that Kenard gets out of Juvie and is muscle for some crew like Bird was, and Michael ends up taking him out…..and on and on and on and on…..
i dunno but if you believe in life or the world or whatever in more of a cyclical fashion, rather than linear, it all adds up…..

Clay Davis was the only one that could really play in the streets and the legit world, which is why he's such a genius character!
