My wife and I are grateful for the subsidies. The thought of setting nearly $30k/yr on fire for a couple who barely uses health care services just sickens my stomach. The money pouring into HC is obscene.

We need Medicare for all this ish needs to stop. <br>Also it’s hard to save cash when your buying power of it goes down and down and down every year because of inflation.

I realized this months ago. You can game the system as long as you have a roth IRA or cash savings and ideally no debt or mortgage. You can literally get the max subsidies if you plan it really well, because you only need it until you're 65.
