As soon as I hear the word “calmly” when it involves the OPs in these stories my anger immediately spikes since it’s almost certain the OP is a robotic, emotionless doormat who does the absolute bare minimum to people close to him that do horrendous, unforgivable things. There’s no satisfying payoff at the end that makes the story worth investing in, it’s just a robotic person with unrealistic levels of patience “turning the other cheek” and letting karma hit them, which doesn’t happen nearly as much in real life. The bad guys rarely get what they deserve in real life unless you fight back, and the OP just BARELY does it but not even close to what they deserve. I swear the OPs are all the AI’s self insert characters because of how robotic they are and how unrealistically they react to these evil people.
