  I know a man who got polio 3 months into the marriage and was paralyzed from the neck down. He was the star athlete in high school and she was the prettiest cheerleader. Everyone told her to get out of the marriage. She hung on and encouraged him until she could take him home on a respirator. !0 years she completely cared for him, on welfare, but they did have 3 children. She brought nutrition home to him and his legs recovered and and one arm. They celebrated when they got the hole closed in his throat. He got a PhD in <br>Theology and Nutrition &nbsp;and they traveled the world working. She still needed to button his shirts but he was earning and became quite famous. He lived until 65 and suddenly died in the taxi bringing him home to their hotel after running a meeting in Bosnia.<br>She would do it all again and they definitely got their prayers answered! I still see her at events. Such a lovely lady inside and out!

  A friend’s daughter became a paraplegic on her 21st bday due to an accident. &nbsp;She is in a wheelchair and has fairly improved hand movements now. She went to school, after grad she met a guy while she was with friends. She was sitting of course and he didn’t know she was paralyzed but they hit it off instantly, and they fell in love. &nbsp;They got married and she just gave birth to twins - a girl and a boy! &nbsp; When we can just get over ourselves and see each other’s heart, have an eternal perspective, and live with Christlike love, we can all have true happiness.

  I had been waiting for years for my prince to find me and pursue me. I thought if the man didn&apos;t make the very first move, then any relationship that grew would be somehow wrong--that my man would never pick up the reins and lead unless the whole thing was his idea to begin with.<br><br>Then one day I saw him sitting with his mother at mass. I had his number from a carpool the previous year, and I decided to text him. I initiated the conversation, but he kept it going. He is the one who took the lead to progress the relationship. He is the one who wanted to call our hangouts &quot;dates&quot;, wanted to be boyfriend and girlfriend, and wanted to pursue marriage. <br><br>Moral of the story: the woman can initiate and the man can reciprocate and take the lead from there.

  I have completely stopped dating 4 years ago, not even flirting. I’m 40 now and always wanted a family. Kind of sad it didn’t happen, but I can’t stand our dating culture anymore. I suspect the boyfriends I had used to watch p0rn and treated me in such a way I never even thought existed, including s3xual assault. I was so innocent, because I was brought up by my father who had always been so respectful to my mother and women in general. I’m currently praying for God to heal my wounds.

  Pray to God for the right spouse. There is no other guarantee or better way. He can bring your spouse everywhere, not only at the church.

  I really like that he talked about how music and media does affect your heart and will, therefore, affect how you see marriage and finding a spouse. &nbsp;I&apos;ve known that what you consume affects your heart, but I&apos;ve never heard it in this context. Thanks for the interview, Lila.

  I tired dating Christian girls I wasn&apos;t attracted and had no chemistry with and it felt so wrong, immoral and borderline depressing it made me no longer excited about getting married and I actually started to dread the idea of marriage when it used to what I looked to most. Attraction and chemistry absolutely matter.
