7 years ago, I married my best friend that I have known since I was 16. We bought a house about 30 minutes outside of our hometown because it was his dream. It didn’t bring me joy the way it did for him. I was pretty young when I realized my wings were just too big for my hometown, but my husband loved it. He never planned to leave and I lost faith that I’d ever get out. Last December we packed up our family of 5 and moved across country. When he agreed to move he told me “I am doing this for you. I could stay here forever, but I know need this”. <br>I played this song as we were driving around with our kids yesterday afternoon when he grabbed my hand. I looked over at him and he said “I love you my than our home town”. I cried. ❤

I am leaving a comment so that after a month, or a year, or a decade when someone likes it, i get a reminder to listen to this beautiful song again.
