  Finally a travel video where they actually drink... ;-) &nbsp; Just remember when you travel on public transportation in Los Angeles the people you encounter are not the average resident. The first thing people do as soon as they can afford it is buy a car so they don&apos;t have to put up with the crazy folks. Good for you that you didn&apos;t hit the cliche tourist stops...

  Americans are generally very friendly, curious and kind. &nbsp;The aggressive people tend to be those under a great deal of economic or social distress in the inner city. Be careful and try to limit your exposure to these places. <br>There are many walkable communities in the USA and even California. You wouldn’t need a car in New York , Boston , Philadelphia , Washington. DC , Chicago , San Francisco and possibly San Diego or Hawaii. That being said, Los Angeles has amazing neighborhoods that are among the most beautiful on the planet. all over the LA basin. But California is also isolated from<br>the rest of the world by of the Pacific Ocean. You’re 6 hours to New York on a transcontinental flight. As beautiful as it is that’s what made me decide to return to the east coast. <br>I understand that you want an experience that is not cookie cutter , but don’t forget the USA has some of the most exotic and jaw droppingly beautiful landscapes on the entire planet. Anyone able to should really see these during their lifetime. I realize many foreigners don’t like the USA ( I couldn’t care less , I’ve lived in Europe , I found those types to be I’ll informed, intellectually lazy and , arrogant) but there are unique natural wonders here, preserved by the society and these have nothing to do with politics. So go see them . &nbsp;You’ll never regret it.

  There are very beautiful beaches in SoCal! Go to Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, San Diego etc..

  This is why almost everyone in LA owns a car… Lived here for 40 years and have not stepped foot onto any public transport… Wouldn’t even know how 🤣
