  hey guys, thank you so much for the love!! i got a few comments about the vhs copyright filter being a little too egregious and i agree. i’ll be honest, i was in the middle of other things when i found out it got copyright claimed, so i had to quickly scramble for some kind of filter to put on top of the video. i wanted it out as soon as possible since i had been wanting to get it out way earlier than i had planned. i found one that i thought was subtle enough so i copy and pasted it throughout the video, exported and had it scheduled to be uploaded, but when i went back to it after it was public, there were a couple moments where i thought “yeesh.” that was my fault for not checking it more thoroughly before i exported it, so i now know to tone down the filter for future copyright issues. but if anyone wanted to watch it without it, i decided to put up the original version on patreon!   One thing I noticed on a rewatch is how the plagues never seem to effect Rameses he’s untouched as a message for god on what kinda of king he is, until the final plague where the spirt takes his own son making him feel the suffering that he’s been giving out for years, and even when he relents and lets the people go he’s full of hate and rage till he’s with nothing but himself when he screams out to Moses it’s not just anger but also guilt that his pride made him loose the only person who understood and loved him the only one who didn’t see the weak link.

  I don&apos;t think I&apos;ve ever felt the pain of a destroyed sibling relationship than this movie. They try to stick together until reality tears than apart and sets them against each other.

  That ring motif really stings for me, not just because Moses kept it to remind him of his brother, but by that point in the desert he was basically on death&apos;s door, he probably knew that too, but he still wanted to keep that ring with him no matter what, even if he died. OH MY HEART :C

  It&apos;s fuuuucked how many times Ralph Fiennes has been robbed of a well deserved Oscar. He easily should have won for Schindler or Prince of Egypt...

  The Prince of Egypt was truly a great movie. &nbsp;It&apos;s sad that we don&apos;t get 2D animated movies from DreamWorks, nor Disney anymore.

  Ramses was trying so hard to be strong and firm like his father told him only for that pride to destroy his civilization. I love how they added that to his character drive.

  The scene where Moses goes to comfort him after the final plague is so powerful that it&apos;s burned into my brain from the time i watched it as a child.
