  I worked on those when they were new when i did my yts course at college to be a mechanic.  Nice car . Went quite fast as i remember ❤. Very smooth too.

  I owned a black G reg ES back in 1999 (80k+ miles). I bought it for £1300. It was brilliant - apart from the cooling system - the ducting which distributed the coolant was all perished. Leaked like a sieve. New boots, new pads and discs, new shocks and it was good to go. So all-in it was around £2000 for a whole lot of fun. The one thing I remembered very well was it cornered like it was on rails. Pretty quick too. Watching this episode brought back good memories of a lovely car.

  I liked these Volvo,s when they first came out and have always wanted one...  I  think I would have paid up to 3000,,,   really nice looking car   just different ..    I suppose that computor only came with the SE version... yeah I think the buyer did well with that purchase...
