I think Leona and Chang's salute was a bug at the beginning that turned into a recurring joke afterwards.

Basically the whole KoF 2003 was a wtf moment. Seeing Chizuru and her twin, fighting an evil Kyo reflection, fighting Rugal's son, Ash stealing people's powers.

My favorite wtf moment was when "Tetsuo" in the game. And I like it instantly.

I thought Rugal's 98' stage was supposed to be something like a sequel to 94's Black Noah, which now has sinked and it's completely destroyed, thus the decoration and glitched TVs scattered around the place. And for the blood pond? Well I don't know, the cinematic kind of implies Rugal was reborn from that thing, so I guess it's there to tie the whole "Rugal is alive, oh shit" situation.

To be honest, Ash ending in XIII sure has the most HEARTBREAKING moments on the series. A WTF moments that literally wanted you to feel bad about him

14:03 this reminds me when I used to play KOF '97 with my little brother, we had a rule to never choose Orochi Leona, Iori, or Orochi, because they would be too OP.
