The agent who let you into the building is so nice my first impression is that he's a busy man always glued to that phone probably expecting some type of compensation or sale but after hearing that he didn't want money and was generally curious about you and where you're from showed me what type of heart he has. Everyone in this video seemed quite genuinely kind and friendly

As a local, I’d say this kind of residential complex was actually quite the novelty when it first opened a decade ago, but in recent years, many people have lost interest in it. As you can see, it’s not really that well-maintained; many of the plants have shrunk considerably in size due to a lack of consistent care. I remember there’s a complex called Swan Lake Garden in Chengdu, located next to the Century City subway station near the Convention and Exhibition Center—it’s the same type of apartment complex, but it looks a bit nicer than this one.

16:27 that's the moment i decide to subscribe your channel. In China , too many westerners have taken Chinese people's kindness towards them as granted. Especially long terms stayers have seen this kind of humble/ kindness as privilege now . Your gesture has really made you showed the appreciation and willingness to returned the kindness. Subscribed with respect . Also , you contents and editing are top quality, love watching it. I believe you can make 1mil subs :)

Everyone in this video came across as genuinely kind. It started with the guard at the residential building, who was simply doing his job. He couldn’t let you in, but he explained the situation clearly and respectfully. Then there was the first security officer, who went out of his way to help you retrieve your drone. In many places, security staff might dismiss such requests with a quick “that’s impossible,” rather than even trying. His attitude stood out.

Next, the real estate agent who showed you the apartments. Agents are usually helpful, but it still feels remarkable when someone makes the effort to assist without expecting anything in return. We don’t often encounter people willing to move beyond their own responsibilities just to help others. That’s why this experience feels almost like something from another world.

In the end, it’s more than just a pleasant encounter—it’s a reminder and a lesson for us: kindness and willingness to help, even in small ways, can make a lasting impression.

Forest apartment - it sounds good and looks good in its early years. it will be a maintenance nightmare when the plants or trees get too big, died, and other upkeeps.

Concrete jungle is amazing in Chengdu, there is none of such city worldwide that does like that. It almost looks unreal at times, like nature and the city got mixed together into something out of a film. But what I liked most is that it is not just visually impressive - it also makes you think.Lucky that drone was brought back, people are so friendly. There is something special about concrete jungle really interesting about seeing such a bold idea up close, especially when you can also feel the gap between the vision and how it works in real life. That gave the video a lot more depth for me. Chengdu keeps surprising with such futuristic constructions.Another fabulous video from the most developed and the best country as always 🙏

Wow, you are amazing! You have already mastered the way to get along with Chinese friends. If a Chinese person considers you as a friend, they generally won't ask for money from you. But if you give them some small gifts, even very cheap fruits, they will be very happy. They will think that you respect and like them as a friend.
