  Dirk beat the Champion-Lakers with Kobe, then OKC with Harden, Westbrook and Durant and the Heat with Lebron, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. Its surely one of the greatest playoff runs of all time.

  I&apos;m not a Mavs fan, but this has got to be the best championship run I&apos;ve ever witnessed, watching Dirk go through all those superstars while not having a single teammate who got named an All-Star that year is truly marvelous.

  Dirk&apos;s 1 ring is better than most players&apos; multiple. Dallas&apos; 2011 playoff run is probably the best of all-time.

  It&apos;s time that people start calling this for what it is. This is one of the top 2 sustained periods of playoff form ever in NBA history. Simply unreal and he knocked off OKC, Defending Champion Lakers AND heavily favoured Big 3 Heat to do it.<br><br>Unreal.

  Dirk was a man on a mission that year. Everyone who wasn&apos;t blinded by the Heat&apos;s big 3 could see what was coming. Monster Dirk, plus a team of hungry vets dying for a ring, and Carlisle out-coaching everyone. I&apos;ll remember 2011 for the rest of my life.
