the only "hair metal" band I actually, genuinely like. Those first two records absolutely slap.

Fun fact slave to the grind was so heavy by “hair metal” standards Metallica actually asked skid row to open for them on the Wherever We May Roam Tour

I saw Skid Row in Argentina during the Slave to the Grind tour in 1992. They truly blew my mind.

I was in LOVE with Rachel Bolan back in the day. I had a poster of him on my wall and I would give it a smooch every now and then.

I saw skid row in 2019 at the lubbock County fair. It was the last fair concert ever in lubbock

I liked In A Darkened Room in the past, as a ballad song. Didnt listen to it in years. Only now to read well into the lyrics with Snake's commentary here to realize the meaning of it. I cried too.

I love it. Great work. I especially like the nod to Bolan with the nose-to-ear chain. He was the first major celebrity to have one of those. I miss the late 80s/early 90s...

24:35
That's brave of you to share that. While I can only assume that a person probably never completely "gets over" something as horrible as that I truly hope that you continue to heal and grow.
