  Luxury for me is high-quality, natural-fiber/-material, well-made clothing and accessories. &nbsp;When I was a young adult in the early 80s, natural-fiber clothing, genuine leather footwear and accessories, etc., were standard quality but now they are “luxuries”. &nbsp;The quality of apparel is so abysmally low these days that I have to shop high-end or designer brands to just get breathable fabric clothing or footwear. &nbsp;I just can’t wear plastics, they’re intolerable.

  The only luxury clothing is to wear what makes you feel your most authentic self. Clothes that make you feel happy, confident, and comfortable. Choosing clothes that resonate with your personality and style is more of a luxury than chasing trends.

  This pretty much sums up my approach to my wardrobe. I never chased labels, but I curated my own looks from inspiration that came from effortless class. I grew up poor, but I always kept the focus on staying true to me not trends. Hence me having items from decades ago that still work well for me. &nbsp;I think whether something is loud or quiet usually falls on how performative the person might be.....which isnt a bad thing if it&apos;s their thing. Art/fashion has always been one of those subjective/eye of the beholder things to me. Some are inspired by the loud gaudy art and others like the simple yet dynamic pieces.
