I'm reading all the comments from people saying they aren't Scottish but love the music and want to see Scotland. I am 100% Scottish (I mean my name is literally a Scottish island lol) and live near many of the filming locations and even I LOVE outlander and this playlist. To the people dying to see Scotland one day, we will welcome you warmly!

"Lord, Ye gave me a rare woman and God! I loved her well." One of my favorite Jamie quotes.

As a Scottish Highlander my dad used to work on Skye and we'd drive there at like 5am to start the day selling fish. He used to sing over the sea to Skye when getting the boat over (before the bridge was built).

I do not have a drop of Scottish blood in me, yet whenever I hear their music, my soul soars and I am at peace.

Purely American but when Scottish music starts, my soul celebrates.

Outlander is by far one of, if not THE best love stories of all time.

I use this soundtrack for my kids. And after they fall asleep, I can’t help but watch them sleep and shed some tears for being so beyond thankful that these are my children that I get to wake up to every single day, watch them grow during the day and pray over them at night. My heart goes out to those moms and dads who lost a child and cannot do the same thing everyday.  hug your kids and family close. you will never know when someones last day could be.

Frank: “with enough time, I thought you could you have forgotten him.”           Claire: “that Amount of time doesn’t exist “!                                     For some reason that line of Claire’s has always stuck with me and I thinks it is one of the most beautiful statements about loving someone I’ve ever herd!!!!!🥰🥰🥺

I think the Scotish are very very lucky to live in such a beautiful place, have it all the music the scenery one if the most beautiful places on the earth.  The music gives me goosebumps and  sends me to places that only dreams are made of.
