  The simple terror of the rope slowly being pulled is insane. Not a fast tug, not a desperate attempt to kill Ted, a slow pull. It&apos;s a sign of intelligence, it&apos;s controlled enough to assume this thing isn&apos;t just hunting, it&apos;s telling you that whatever is on the other side of that rope is either playing with you or threatening you. Actually petrifying.

  Pastra mentioned that it was eerily impressive that they got the exact same breed of dog for B&apos;s dog, but I just thought it was impressive at how they were able to make the dog act like it genuinely was having its instincts go off the charts. I imagine they got some kind of acting dog or something, but even then it&apos;s just so impressive the amount of work and authenticity they put into this.

  I don&apos;t know where their filming location is, but the &quot;ted cave&quot; is a real cave that really exists (minus the paranormal stuff) so it would be cool to think they actually went back there.

  The fact the dog lived is the best part of this.<br>But seriously, I found this series so interesting with how natural the actors&apos; interactions felt and how &quot;authentic&quot; the events seemed. It allows the viewer to root for them, and also admonish them when their ambition becomes extremely dangerous, all the more. Plus, the severely claustrophobic environments made everything a thousand times more intense and anxiety-ridden.

  Ngl, this is my favorite creepypasta. No overly dramatic reveal, nothing with explicit gore, and not much actually in the story. This is still scary because of what it doesn’t add, which I appreciate immensely👍 Edit: Pastra rewrote Jeff the Killer perfectly 🫡

  i heard that the author was interviewed and part of the reason the story was so effective was because it started as a completely true story... dude named ted and his buddy went to go explore a cave system and opened up a passage untouched by any man. it was after this entry that ted decided it would be funny to pretend something spoopy happened instead of truthfully recounting his adventure from that point forward. he said the blog was made to keep his family updated while he was out traveling and aside from making his family laugh, didn&apos;t expect any attention from it.

  There is something to note on Joe’s character. &nbsp;In the original story, he does return. &nbsp;After Ted experiences paranoia to the degree he must keep the lights on in his home, he feels a compulsion to go to a place overlooking the city, coming to meet Joe once again. &nbsp;The two talk &amp; it’s revealed Joe experiences similar feelings of paranoia to Ted. &nbsp;The two ultimately make the choice to back &amp; find answers. &nbsp;It implies that whatever they saw or perhaps crossing the threshold into Floyd’s Tomb is what gives them these supernatural experiences of paranoia.
