Jon.. Your work gets better and better every time you post.. Not just saying this because we've been good Friends for over 24 years 😊..
But, you have a fantastic way of explaining things to your viewers, without over complicating the complexity of War!...
Well done Brother 👍😃
Glynn..

Once again, great work! No AI, live, knowledgeable commentary, accurately identifying historical units, weapons and vehicle types. This is fascinating content!

Love these films Jon, stuff we wouldn't ever see, plenty of combat footage out there but these reels show what goes on behind the combat/post combat. As always the then and now is brilliant.

Yes, Jon, this does hit home that the devastation wasn't limited to the big towns. The hedgerow fighting was pretty brutal and the little villages took a beating as well. Well done, as always.

The Shermans moving @4:00 had aerial identification panels on their decks to reduce mistaken identity. In the summer, dusty conditions from multiple tanks moving, reduced visibility for ground attack aircraft, likely P-47 and Hurricanes, to id who was who on a fluid battlefield. Appreciate the new vids; look forward to more.

You are bringing these young HEROES back to life!! ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! The amount of details. So fantastic!! I hope someone sees their grandpa or great grandpa and leaves a comment for history to know. The exact location and company and platoon level knowledge is SO VALUABLE!!! This is SO HISTORIC!! Please never stop making these. God bless all of our armed forces heroes. 💯❤️🇺🇸

There were a lot of contributing factors for the breakout at St. Lô to succeed, and 'Hell on Wheels' was one of them. They were a true standout for U. S. armor in Normandy. I have to compliment your last couple of episodes, outstanding work. Thanks.

Herb Shannon was the Combat photographer. Part of the 163rd Signal Co. Another great break down of the work of these Combat Cameramen.
