  I legitimately think the Mummy 1999 is the best movie ever made, there isn't the single part that drags, the set pieces are fantastic, the actors give it their all and play so well off each other, yes I'm biased as hell, but it's just fantastic fun and holds up on many rewatches

  Trilogy is a word 😭 as someone who only acknowledges the first two I can honestly still say they aged like the finest wine you could ever find

  It really doesn’t get much better than that 1999 film. A perfect blend of action, horror, and comedy. One of the all time best movies.

  Imhotep jumping in from off screen to dramatically gesture, and cry out at Rick having stabbed the Scorpion King is easily one of the funniest bits in any movie in the last 30 years 😂😂😂

  "The Mummy Returns" a disapointment? I always loved this movie. When it came out I knew not one person who disliked it. So sad that Stephen Sommers didn't return to finish the trilogy himself. Even more sad is the fact that he doesn't direct movies anymore.

  As someone who learned about scarab beetles as a kid before watching the first Brandon Fraiser Mummy film, it was funny to me learning that people were traumatized and gaslit into thinking they were flesh-eating demons because I immediately think, &quot;People were scared of bugs that eat poop.&quot;
