Paused my phone notifications, then got 40 minutes of reading in. Probably could've done another 20, but it's getting late. Tomorrow's another day!

I have been consistent with the Ray Bradbury Challenge for the past 11 days..on my third attempt to do it.also set a timer so I can read between tasks. Your videos have been a great, great help. Thank you Sir.

I used to read when I was a young boy and now I’m 18 and I just wanna say that your videos helped my mind get used to the idea of reading again. How much help reading does to the brain is amazing and now I feel like I must read some books. So I started reading 1984 by George Orwell and it has been hard but fun so far. Thanks for making these videos they help people like me get back into reading.

I'm sad I can't read 200 pages or so a day anymore. Getting older has consequences! It isn't my mind, it's my eyes!

I am younger than you, but I remember the days before mobile phones. Not everyone had a computer, either. And, you know, it was a blessed time for reading. One’s mind wasn’t overloaded with news and messages, so information from books was absorbed much more easily. It was like watching an interesting movie with a plot that was perfectly clear to you.

I have gotten better at dedicating time to reading multiple days a week but still can’t usually manage more than one hour at a time! Baby steps I guess

thank you for this video!<br>i read an entire book on my own volition, for fun, not for school or anything, a couple days ago for the first time since 2021. i then went and got a library card the day after i finished the book. this video is very helpful to know that it will get easier and that my brain isnt ruined or anything and that im not alone in these feelings

Hey Randy, another good tip for improving focus if you’re a doom scroller; delete your social media apps from your phone or tablet, and only allow yourself to use them on a web browser of a desktop pc or laptop. My new rule is I can check social media accounts once on a Sunday, works a treat!
