I've been searching for years (decades, really) for the right way to start the downswing. I took this "unfold the trail arm while keeping your back to the target" swing thought to the course and it worked well for two holes, then I bungled the next four, but then it really came together for the last three. What a revelation! Thank-you!!!

People always tell me”trail hand to back pocket” and I’d try but nothing would feel right and I’d just keep getting told that. Your idea of your palm going to the ground really helped me. Thank you!

Spot on, the feeling i like is swinging the club on rhe downswing on the inside of the backswing, like your drills slow and quick\ keep passing on the message

This is a hard concept to grasp when you've been told for years that you should never start the downswing with your arms, but it makes complete sense when you think about how you get into the over the top position by starting with moving your hips first.
