  This entire album “Jagged little Pill” is one of the greats albums to come out during that time period. This was the soundtrack to my 20’s and pretty much every other woman at the time. Her lyrics through out the whole album hit home with how we all felt then. Not a single skip song on the album. My favorite is “All I Really Want”. My teen daughter even listens to it all the time. RIP Taylor Hawkins 🙏🥁

  Alanis Morissette and Jagged Little Pill will forever remain an incredible moment in music history! One of the best singers and one of the greatest albums ever.

  Alanis was around for a long time, but this song was how she was introduced to the world. It was a fucking supernova.

  I recall when this song hit the radio. Was listening when some guy called the DJ and asked to "hear the song by the Pissed Off Chick".  ;)

  Her backing band was a mix of musicians.  Taylor Hawkins (RIP) from the Foo Fighters on drums.  Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers on bass here.  There were other musicians on other songs from this album, which was an incredible success.

  Taylor had her come onstage for a song & in the introduction she said if it werent for Alannis she wouldnt be doing what shes doing.   basically shes sayin shes an influence

  She is surprisingly easy going and down to earth.  Also a great interview as she's both interesting and funny.  Just a super likeable artist from what I've seen, which may not be what one expects based on this song.

  Caught this in a tiny club in Portland, OR the week she hit number one and the energy was INSANE.  Her drummer on the tour was the late Taylor Hawkins (RIP) and despite Alanis being one of the best performers I've ever seen he managed to hold his own onstage from behind the drum kit.  Amazing band, amazing show, amazing night.  I had invited my recent ex to the show (as a sort of "we haven't talked in three months, no hard feelings" thing) and she got hammered before showing up and proceeded to meet and make out with a girl standing next to us the entire night.  I eventually dropped her back at her cousins and rang the doorbell before running.....lol.
