If you ever want to know what a class act is, in the face of bad times and on the crest good, it's the magnificent Judy Garland. What a treasure.

I saw this biography about 10 years ago on tv. It''s called "Impressions of Garland".

You can tell she loved what she was doing but what her mother and the studios did to her to control her life with pills ruined her inside and out. That voice is purely natural and a gift to her and us. If only she had better time and guidance she may have not had to struggle so.

It doesn’t matter who is on stage with her, she commands the scene and the stage. I’ve never seen anything like it and I am sure I never will again. And, by the way, she was gorgeous. Inside and out.

To refer to her as a Clown is completely disrespectful. Long after he, me and you are gone, sweet Judy will be fondly remembered. God bless you, sweet Judy.
