  About the “why didn’t gypsy just walk away?” I’d like to point out, she did. <br>She left her house and hitchhiked all the way to a different house with a man she believed would protect her, yet her mom still found her and forced her back home. <br>Gypsy DID just walk away, and that didn’t work.

  My whole thing is that people are like, “she was abused for 24 years, in prison for 9… let’s put her on TV!” Seriously people? Do we not feel this girl needs intensive therapy and some time to adjust to being by herself?

  i think what a lot of people forget is that gypsy was basically a celebrity before the murder even took place. her mom paraded her around getting awards and charity money sent to her. she’s used to growing up with fame/recognition, i don’t think it’s that weird how comfortable she is on TV considering she has been for most of her life

  The fact that DeeDee was saying that Gypsy had a short life span, I can&apos;t help but think if Gypsy didn&apos;t find a way to escape her, DeeDee would have, inadvertently or on purpose, killed her.

  I always found it wild that no one ever points out the fact that DeeDee was 24 and Rod was only 17. It’s predatory and I believe she also tried to trap him with the pregnancy.

  I have no sympathy for Deedee. <br>She just reached her destiny by abusing her daughter for 24 years!!! <br>24 years of absolute horrific physical and psychological torture!!<br>In the end of that story I would also hold all the doctors responsible and charge them for performing unnecessary procedures for a healthy person. <br>Sick!!
