  I love how John pretends the real problem was that he accidentally double booked two guests on Friday. When the real problem is obviously that <b>ONCE HE DID</b> double book — he prioritized Ava — who’s on all the time — over Clay.

  Not only is John stuck in the past with his resume, he is stuck in thinking his kids are still children. They are adults John, capable of thinking for themselves. I am quite sure they are capable of speaking for themselves. John is the only one who me keeps them in the rotation of topics.
