I was married to a Narcissist for 30 years. I barely made it out alive. He shot me and handicapped for life. I now have PTSD, anxiety disorder, depression. I do not leave my home. Damn, knowing that Mark carries a picture of her really breaks my heart. He has so much compassion for a girl he never even met. So many people in this story are in desperate need of serious therapy now.

I feel like Sabrina just wanted an “excuse” to hurt someone. I don’t think she truly believed that Sophie did anything. Sabrina is just straight up evil. My heart goes out to Sophie and her family. She seemed like such a kind soul

I heard about this one. There was a local shop owner who fed Sophie on occasion and really tried to help her but she wouldn't say what was wrong. It's very sad.

Sophie never had a chance. Sabrina's narcissism could never let her go. She HAD to destroy her.. she was everything she's not and she hated how she was a shining light, the kids probably adored her and Sabrina was jealous of the bond she never bothered to build and more

OMG these people are disgusting and absolutely evil!! May they rot in hell for what they did to poor Sophie, she did NOT deserve this. I also feel bad for Sabrina's 2 innocent children. I hope they're being taken care of and being raised differently than Sabrina was so they'll be better than she ever was!

I couldn't help but laugh out of pain when you were talking about Sophi's salary and hours worked. I used to be an Au Pair in Switzerland, I was earning 50 francs (41 pounds) a week, working from 6 am till 10 pm, 7 days a week. Taking care of the kids, cooking, cleaning, and doing EVERYTHING around the house. There were also weeks when they didn't pay me because they couldn't and made me feel bad for wanting my money because they were giving me a roof and food. I'm from Guatemala, I was SOO far from home, didn't speak the language, and had no friends in Switzerland besides 3 years old kids -_-<br>When I finally got the courage to leave (I lasted 6 months) they took my passport and left me the whole weekend in the apartment with locked doors, they practically kidnapped me. This was in 2013 when I was 18 and I am still traumatized.<br>These kind of stories should be mentioned more often, being an Au Pair can be amazing but it can also be hell :(
