You definitely need a smaller knife to peel the potatoes or better yet a vegetable peeler

Just a simple suggestion, you can take this advice for what it’s worth and as an autoimmune disease warrior, I found that when I keep a food diary of what I eat everyday for a few months and how food is prepared and cooked with ingredients such as honey, sugar, starches (High carb foods - rice, potatoes, pasta, white breads etc.), some vegetables like cabbage, cauliflower do affect those with no or have thyroid issues. At the end of the day write down how your body feels and/or when you wake up the next morning (pain, fatigue, lethargic, feel great etc). After a few weeks you will notice what foods affect your health and the autoimmune disease. Many inflammatory foods are soy, sugar, dairy, high starchy foods, processed foods, foods prepared with preservatives, food dyes. After a few months you then will know what your body can tolerate.

That was a great deal for all that produce. Knowing where to shop, getting the weekly sales, makes a big difference to the food budget.

Sometimes it’s much easier to cut meat with scissors and peel vegetables with a peeler

I always check the sales on my phone and I clip the coupons, and I shop every 2 weeks I mostly buy for my husband because I had to have 95% of my stomach removed to save my life, I eat very small meals and I don't eat the same things he eats but that's ok, I do save a lot of money buy getting things on sale and freeze what I can, have a blessed week ahead 😊

Your videos are so comforting and calming to watch.

living in the Netherlands i budget my money to go to the store and get their weekly magazine with all the groceries discounts for a very good price.Things like pasta, rice, coffee, tea and tomato sauce I buy in stock and it lest me for more than 5 months.

meat and chicken I buy at my local halal butcher. The price are less expensive than in the stores and the amount is good.Chicken is still very inexpensive and there are so many delicious recipes for it.

What really helped my budget is to make a week meal plan. And use left over veggies for the soup or to make a veggie pasta stew. Also i stopped to order food all the time and eat less at restaurants.I am living more conscious.
