My first memory of this movie was walking out into the living room while my parents were watching the dinner scene (you know…the fondue) and catching the tail end of that. Folks had laughed so hard they didn’t notice me in the corner watching the rest of the movie lmao.

Dustin Hoffman is delightful in this.

Wow wasn't it expecting it this fast lol. Dustin is so absolutely utterly wholesome in this movie haha. So there's a Focker In-Law coming out end of 2026. Gonna be a 16yr gap between that and Little Fockers so hopefully it's utterly hilarious, especially if Ben is back in.

And yes, Nicole DeHuff died at 30 after being diagnosed twice with Bronchitis but she had pneumonia, it's incredibly sad at 30 years old. RIP.

Great sequel with well chosen actresses and actors. Loving the fact that Jacks horn plays " Puff The Magic Dragon". Nice callback. Also: Tim Blake Nelson is gold in his short appearance here. He was so good in "Brother Where Art Though".

Meet the Parents is great but Meet the Fockers is one of the few sequels that surpass the original. Imo

🎥🎥🎥 56:23 The entire sequence involving Hoffman, Stiller, and De Niro with this cop was filmed at a public park where I jogged virtually every day. I missed this filming by one day, but most of the location equipment was still there. BUT at this same park, I watched a scene from Dexter being filled involving Michael C. Hall (Dexter) and Julia Stiles (Lumen). They repeated the scene several times. Each time running a few feet near me as a sat on a bench off camera. Got to speak to Julia stiles when they changed location a few yards away to shoot another scene.

When Dustin was on Inside the Actors Studio and talking about this film, he said when it was suggested Streisand be cast opposite him, his first reaction was something like "if the two of us were a couple, the one thing I know for sure is that SHE would be on top."

If Dustin Hoffmann wasn't Hook, this would have probably been my favorite performance of his. 😅
(I'm not that big of a fan of serious stuff like Rainman or The Graduate).
