Run On Sentences are beat tapes by Larry Fisherman (Mac Miller’s producer alter ego). All of the songs are instrumentals with some samples except for the final tracks Avocado & Smile. The mixtapes were made during the 2013-2015 production wave of Mac’s career, which was his most prolific two year stretch as a producer by a wide margin.

Vol. 1 (0:00 - 32:34)
Vol. 2 (32:35 - 1:00:16)

Many nights I would lay down by the water's edge stare into the sky, surrender myself to mushrooms, and play these. They are so entertaining... now when I listen to them sober, or in an altered state, I get emotional. So much self-reflection and self-understanding have come about from these two pieces of art that they have a resonance with me. I know the nuances of every sound, present or past in these works, yet I still can get the feeling as if there is something new and unexpected in the next second. Mac is someone who had a large impact on me. I first heard kool-aid and frozen pizza in 7th grade and watched/listened to every piece of content he shared with the world. I practically used him as a role model in so many ways good and bad. Today going back through these less popular things and stuff I have fond memories with has been hard. I'm not one to comment often on anything as I'm more of a crawler but for the first time since Malcolm's passing I feel obligated to share how much of an impact he has had on me. Tomorrow is a day of big decisions and it was humbling to come back to something in my past that really grounds me.

I still can’t believe that Mac is actually gone sometimes with all of the material we uncover. This man was unreal.

I swear the more I think about it the more I see that Mac was this generation's MF DOOM. The different personas, the weird experimental production with those vocal samples, the abstract rapping on projects like WMWTSO and Faces. I would've loved to hear the two of them collab. R.I.P. to both, two of the most original and creative hip hop artists.

I started listening to this after my wife left… I already know that, that situation and this will forever be imprinted on my mind and will weigh on my soul heavy everytime I listen to it. Accepting the present while wishing for a different outcome. Looking back on the past smiles and laughter that would fill the room and take us away from this planet for those spilt seconds. Spectrum of emotions.
