Watching Nate’s reaction to this reminds me of the quote “Nothing will ever be foolproof because fools are so ingenious.” My personal version is ”NEVER ASSUME SOMETHING IS OBVIOUS.” When I was 5 years old and I tried to help clean up the house, my mom took the broom away from me because I wasn’t sweeping right. Whenever someone is doing something for the first time, YOU NEED TO BE OCD WITH INSTRUCTIONS.

I still say to this day, that this is the video, which truly began caddy´s path towards madness.

Caddy's videos were already in a transition period, but this is the video where he fully lost his mind and his videos after are exercises in masochism.

During a con Q&A caddy actually reveled what the reboot issue was. It turns out that a one of the setting in the bios that was turned on by default was causing the issue (what the setting was specifically I couldn't tell you). Keep in mind he was told not to fiddle with the bios that much because if you do it could mess up your PC apparently, so yeah.

I couldn't have been the only one at the time who saw the title of that video and had a heart-attack, right?

Literally one of the reasons I went with pre built and just change the parts whenever I feel like upgrading

Y'know... Caddie's video made me realize something about PC building and custom built PCs... They are the modern day equivalent of a Custom Car. You've got a whole engine of the thing (Motherboard, Graphics Cards, Audio), you have to run a Bios check like you do with the engine, insane chassis or PC Cases, similar price tags (tho cars are more expensive.) The only big difference is that you have to make sure you have backups for any files on the computer whereas with a car, you make sure you cleaned out everything before getting the interior reupholstered.

Post-Production Nate really dropped the ball with Reactor Nate’s phone recording.

Nate’s entire commentary for this video is basically, “NO! NO! NO! WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!”
