  Sheikh Ahmad Maeno (Abu Hakeem) is a Japanese Muslim scholar, born in 1975, graduated from Osaka University of Foreign Studies. He embraced Islam at the age of 18,went to Syria, studied Islamic Knowledge, and graduated from the Sharee&apos;ah department of Fath Islamic Institute in Damascus. He gives regular lectures and lessons to Muslims in the Masjids and Islamic schools in Japan.   It is much easier for Japense and Koreans to accept Islam since it corresponds very well with their own culture of honor, modesty and wisdom. May Allah increase Japan and Korea in Islam

  I feel like Allah is doing something in this times... I was born in an African Christian familly, never really gave Islam a second thought, but always felt that something was wrong with Christiannity. Lately I just felt my heart openning up to the teachings of the Quran, can&apos;t explain how, but brought peace to my inner self... I feel like a new journey is about to begin for me.
