I was an RA for the last 2 years I was in college and something similar like this happened. One of my residents got hit with a Title 9 because a girl alleged that he had SA’d her. They were both drunk and she agreed to leave from a frat party with him back to our floor and they took each others virginities. When she woke up the next day she bolted out of there and next thing you know he had to lawyer up because she told her parents and investigate was pursued. Eventually the charges were dropped but I don’t understand how it was considered SA on his end but not on her’s. If you can’t consent to sex while drunk, that means he couldn’t consist either. It’s a bit of a grey area

so if a boy and girl are both drunk and high, why does that exonerate the woman for her poor decisions but never the man. The same people who feel the man is still responsible but the girl is not are the people that feel women should get all the good things men historically get but none of the bad.

I don't mean to be rude, but so much of this is due to the wacky way that American universities are run. 1. Why allow frats and sororities? They seem to be a hotbed of foolish and risky behaviors at best and at worst of criminal cruelty. Second, "campus police"? No, if you think you've been sexually assaulted, you go to the proper police!
