Here from the UK, where I -- an American who is married to a British man and have three children -- learned that the UK doesn't have the same connotation to the word "cowboy" that most Americans do. In the UK, when anybody says that someone is "a cowboy", they generally mean that the person they're talking about is cheating and conning people in a fraudulent manner. <br><br>Pistol Poppin' Pete is a cowboy, in that sense.
