Agree. I think the 1953 Yogi Berra Topps card is beautiful and underappreciated. He looks really good on it.

Great stuff Mike.  Totally agree.  I would also add the ‘66 Jim Palmer RC, and ‘65 Joe Morgan RC.  Both criminally cheap.

The Bench rookie has always been extremely undervalued.

Couldn’t agree more about Bench versus Ryan. ‘51 Bowman Mick is his rookie for heaven’s sake!  Other undervalued cards- ‘48 Leaf/Bowman Spahn and Stan, Steve Carlton, Joe Morgan and Frank Robinson RCs.

All early Carltons are underated. For some reason he is not collected by anyone but set collectors

Jerry Koosman was no slouch 😂. Thompkins is dragging Jonny Bench down 😂

Great undervalued cards. Frank Robinson is another undervalued card. I remember Beckett used to list Yankees and Dodgers cards at 1.25 value compared to other teams. For example, I always find a Reds or Phillies vintage card for like $5 or $10. Then I find a Dodger card from the same year for a few dollars more. It's a drag, but you just kinda get used to it. Happy New Year!

52 Topps Mantle also has stories -- cases of 52 Topps high number series cases dumped in the ocean and the Mr. Mint find of unopened high number product. Both add to the legend.

Warren Spahn and Eddie Mathews appear undervalued to me.

I think the 1961 Topps Billy Williams is underrated

Agree with your take on the '51 Mantle.   Very underrated card indeed!
